I believe connection heals all. My absolute passion is empowering people to more deeply connect with themselves, nature and each other. Through this, my mission is to facilitate personal transformation for changemakers so they may feel internally resourced to be more courageous in their vision and actions, having a powerful ripple effect on our world. And yes, we can all be changemakers.
With a sense of adventure and compassion we create a safe space for you to hear your inner wisdom and get out of your own way... to dissolve your blocks, discover your true vision and support you to courageously follow through on leading a personal and professional life aligned with the truth and power of who you are.
My coaching style has a holistic approach using a wide variety of tools from studies in Compassionate Communication (or NVC), Somatics, NLP, Strengthfinders, Systems Theory, Emotional Intelligence and the "Panic to Powerful" program.
I'm certified as a Professional Whole Person Coach, "Panic to Powerful" Cancer Journey Coach and Reiki Master supporting changemakers, solopreneurs and cancer survivors by phone and Zoom from my home base in Oregon. I've served as Treasurer of the Oregon ICF, (International Coaching Federation), President and V.P. of Hood River Toastmasters and as a volunteer with various organizations such as Hospice of the Gorge.
Coaching is a professional and confidential relationship. Your trust and confidence are of the utmost importance in working with a quality coach. I gladly adhere to the ICF code of ethics
In addition to coaching for ten years, my background includes a BA from Humboldt State University in Photography and over twenty years experience in the corporate, small business and nonprofit worlds. Having worn various hats as an entrepreneur, operations manager, consultant, writer and healer allows me a unique perspective on a variety of situations.
I'm originally from the wilds of New York. Being drawn to epic beauty, I've hung my hat in several western states as an adult before my wandering spirit serendipitously found a home 14 years ago between two volcanos, in the Columbia River Gorge. Aside from my passion of coaching, I enjoy volunteering, spontaneous adventures, my ridiculously amazing community, hiking, telemark skiing, yoga, meditation, travel and being on the water.
